Study is hard work and you need to have a plan when you are studying for exams and even for assignments. From university to high school, study is an important part of learning, some are better at it than others. The main things you need to think about is your time frame, your personality and what you need to do to get the grade you want. Study for each person is different, you need to work with what you have got. The thing that most people don’t think about is doing what suits you and making sure you work with that you have. 1.Your time frame
Firstly, you need to think about the time frame your working with. This means looking at your diary and checking out what you have on for the two weekend before your exam or assignment. This can include other assignments that are due and work as well. The time that you need for these activities needs to be taken out of your timeframe. Then think about how much time you need in terms of hours, the maximum not the minimum and write it down in your diary.

2.Your personality
Next, think about how you work and the best way to work with that instead of against it. Some people like to work under pressure and others need a lot of time, think about what suits you. If you need a lot of sleep before you study then make sure that you have at least 8 hours of sleep before your exam and when your studying as well.

3.How much study you need to do to get the mark you want
Next you need to think about what kind of mark you want- the better the mark the more hours you will need to study for. Think about how you learn the best in terms of audio or visual. Some people need more hours of study to get a pass, so if you know this then work with it. Be prepared and study to your strengths.

4.Have some down time
When your studying make sure you have regular breaks every hour or two. Also have a break from study in general, go out for a walk or spend time with family. When you get back into it you will find that your mind is fresh and ready to go

5.Stay fresh for your actual exam
The night before your exam have a good night sleep and eat before you go into your exam.
